Upgrading old netbook AO751h (Acer) with SSD - is it worth?

Hi all,

I'm thinking to upgrade my old netbook's HDD with SSD, is it worth?

As you might know that this netbook can't even play youtube video smoothly..... due to it's processor Intel Atom 1.33Ghz Z530.... :(

Therefore, rather than throwing it away, I'm thinking to replace the HDD with SSD....

Anyone has done this before?

Please let me know what's the results....

Adding an SSD will not change the performance of the unit, just allow it to load things(local things, not internet things) faster.

With the specs, I am not sure it is a good idea.

Maybe try another browser or try the HTML5 version of youtube to see if it is better.

My old single core Athlon 64 3000 can just playback youtube(but at 720p it starts to skip sometimes).
