Dot matrix with USB cable

I have dot matrix printer with USB cable and windows 7 is my OS, but DOS printing is not happening even I created a loop back adopter and executed this command net use LPT1: \\<your_computer_name>\<shared-printer_name> /PERSISTENT:YES
