You are comparing the fastest WD consumer drive against a very good Seagate. As the Seagate is 7200rpm, has reasonable speed, and I have dozens running in NAS boxes, if you need the space more than bleeding edge speed, get the Seagate.

I would not pay the difference for the warranty for a consumer home computer or NAS box, and use Enterprise drives in...

I would not pay the difference for the warranty for a consumer home computer or NAS box, and use Enterprise drives in commercial NAS boxes. No OEM (Dell, HP, Lenovo) use Blacks -- too expensive and they run hot.
