New build initially wouldn't accept my RAM at all. I bought a higher frequency since the Z87 has XMP technology and this RAM was on sale. I bought 4 sticks to make 32GB. I was able to get the new build to recognize the RAM if I only put in one stick at a time and rebooted. So, insert first stick > boot > stick accepted > shutdown > add second stick > repeat... This worked up until the fourth stick was added. It just won't take it. I know a decent amount about PC's but I'll admit I don't really know much about RAM itself. I know the stick is good because I've traded it out with another and it works. What can I do to get it working? Do I need to return them and buy something different?
