Hello,
Yesterday I reseated my RAM swapping slots, upon closing everything up and powering on the PC immediately powered down and would not boot… This turned out to be my mistake as I had not correctly seated one of the RAM Modules.
Anyway me been an idiot aside I resolved this, closed everything up again and powered back on. My PC began loading up for a few seconds and then it again turned off but quickly restarted itself.
After this happened I was greeted with a POST message to say “Overclocking failed!” I F1’d this process which took me to the BIOS.. Everything looked in order so I continued to windows.
Everything seems fine now.. I ran a memory test, checked the event viewer (Found no errors at all) and even ran a benchmark which all came back clean/fine.
I’m probably over reacting… but is there anything else I should be checking? I don’t want this to bite me in the ass later down the line.
Cheers
