Will my CPU still work if i get a new Graphics card?

Hello, i'm looking to get a new Graphics card, but at the moment i have a AMD A6-3620 with AMD Radeon™ HD 6530D CPU and a GPU combined. What i want to know is if i get a new Graphics card will the CPU part still work?

Absolutely yes, if you slap a new discrete graphic card to your system, you processor will still run flawlessly..

Yep it will work.basically u have an apu(amd cpu with integrated gpu).its like intel integrated graphics and wont do much if you are planning on gaming.adding a dedicated gpu wont affect your setup.

If your integrated graphics of the processor is compatible with the new graphic card (ati) series, both will work in crossfireX. But again the external card is much superior and that will give the performance, so go grab one
