95% of boards you put the memory in the SAME COLORED slots to get dual channel, you can either read the manual and see which way it goes (can still be a pain in the butt sometimes) or as haxer said you can get CPU-Z look at memory tab (only the memory tab) and see if it says dual or single channel.
