A10 6800k Boot is slower than my A6 5400k

I recently upgraded my A6 5400k to an A10 6800k. The first time I booted it had no problems. However, the following day when I booted up it stays really long in the "Starting Windows" screen. It isn't frozen since I see the windows logo move but it stays there for a minute before entering windows. Before it would only stay there for about 2-3 seconds. I read around here that I might need to upgrade my BIOS? I'm new at building PCs so I don't really know if I missed something. I'm booting from an SSD by the way. Below are my specs:

A10 6800k OC to 4.4GHz
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 (bought last month)
Rosewill 700W PSU
8GB G.Skill Sniper 2x4GB 1600
MSI R9 270x
CM Hyper 212 EVO
Kingston 120GB SSD
WD 320GB
WD 1TB

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

go to the MSI site and get the latest chipset drivers. I still think its a bios issue, either fast boot isn't enabled, or your oc is causing the problem.

Updating your bios is always a good idea when you upgrade a CPU, additionally when you changed the processor the bios might have disabled any of the fast boot options. Go back and make sure quickboot and all of that stuff is enabled. Also I suspect the first time you booted you didn't have your processor OCed... and now you do if there is some stability issues that could slow your boot down. Might try dialing back your OC and see if that fixes the problem.

I do plan on upgrading to an FM2+ later when the new Kaveri comes out. For now though, which drivers should I be looking at? I saw that the A10 6800k drivers automatically installed the first time I entered windows after installing the processor.
