GTX 680 and FX-6100 bottlenecking?

So, I have an Asus GTX 680 DirectCU II OC and a FX-6100 overclocked 3.70ghz. I was wondering if this is really bad since the 680 is obviously a lot more high end. I might be buying the 8350 since it's not too expensive.

Here are the rest of my specs:
Mobo: MSI 990FXA-GD65 AM3+
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 Mhz 2x4 GB
PSU: Cooler Master GX 750W

Also, would be nice if someone could tell me if the 8350 will work fine on my mobo.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the 6100 is bulldozer architecture - a x3xx piledriver CPU would be a huge upgrade. I went from a 6200 to an 8320 and my FPS doubled in most games, CPU dependent at least.

I'd go for the 8320 instead of the 8350 - it's just clocked lower at stock, easy multiplier bump to 8350 speeds and you save $.

Upgrading the the FX8350 is your best option, going from 6 cores to 8 cores is a huge benefit and you will experience a huge increase in performance. I would even go for the 8320 if you have adequate cooling because the 8350 is essentially an overclocked 8320 and the 8320 is cheaper. I hope this helps, best of luck!
