How is the asrock 970 PRO3?

Hi,
I'm going to build a PC soon and I was wondering if the Asrock 970 PRO3 would be any good with an fx 6300?

its good enough...but if i were you i would at least go for the extreme 4

nothing to be alarmed about....just that the extreme 4 has a much better layout and a beefy vrm (good for oc)

The asrock extreme 3 is not that good board but the extreme 4 is much better as it has much better vfm and better power phase design.
If u looking to get the extreme 3, then within that price range,grab a MSI 970A-G46.

IT would be fine but be aware of the heat and today u are not O.C ing but tomorrow u would.who can say. Get the extreme 4, i don't think that there is a huge price diff. between the two, so why not get the better?

the asus m5a97 also is a good board....but i personally feel as rock extreme 4 has better value for money

The PRO 3 is fine only if u are NOT O.C ing(remember the 4+1 phase design is meant for decent O.Cing.) and yes it supports cpu upto 8350.
