What do you mean, if it is your own network you should know the password? We can't help you bypass security here on Tom's.

You can press and hold the reset button on the back of your router that will reset everything to the stock settings. However this will do no good if you dont know the original password assigned to the router. Most routers will have the default settings in the manual or if its your ISP(internet service providers) router the default SSID and password should be on a sticker on the router somewhere.

Your post was just fine. We're trying to avoid helping the people who are trying to break into someone else's router. If you have physical access to it, it's either yours or there is a more serious crime going on here.

If you have a Mac computer that’s connected to it, just go to Keychain Access. Should be in there under the System Keychain. (it will ask you for your admin password.)

Cheers!

My niece would like to use the Wi-Fi but I don't know the password. And dish nor Net Gear would help me. How can I figure out my password?

1) Read the responses above by Idewitt and WyomingKnott. That's the most help you are going to get.
2) Please don't "hijack" an existing thread by adding your question to it.

WyomingKnott i accidentally marked that as an answer the mobile version of the forums aren't very responsive or work very well.(At least for me anyways)

But Mycorftxxx is right, if you have a question make your own thread. And basically the only information we can give is the information already posted in this thread by myself and WyomingKnott.
