Got my first custom built pc delivered yesterday, havnt been able to set it up as of yet due to royal mail screwing up my keyboard and ethernet cable deliveres (garenteed next working day and its now been 2 days, hoping they come tomorrow, the morons). But anyway, everything is built, ll i have to d is plug it in, connec my monitor and stuff, then power it on. What then? im aware theres like a first time update or something when you first turn it on, then i need to insert the windows 7 cd, then the motherboard cd and lastly the grpahics card one? or is there anythign ive missed? (also will i be prompted to insert he windows disc or am i expected to do it as soon as my decktop powers on and allows me to open the cd drive

they build it then put it through a few days of testing, so maybe they just provide the discs in case youever need them. They did send me an email regarding my motherboard having intergrated graphics, makig sure i connect my monitor to my graphics car and not the motherboard, as well as telling me that after first powering on the pc, not ot turn it off untill it has finished updating or something (cant remember off the top of my head). Nothign stated about using the cds so probably already done, just asking in case i have to do it myself for whatever reason

Nah, CD's are just incase you have to do a fresh install of Windows down the road later. When you connect to the internet for the first time, windows will update itself, this can take a while with around 1GB of patches now on a new install of Windows, just let it do its thing and dont turn it off in the middle of updating.
