but a he is ruing x79 so i belive the extra money is not that much to ask where did you find the noise complaints because i have not seen any noise results, and he asked for preofmarnce and a good punmp two advantages the glacier 240l has over the h100i

yeah legokill101 is right, i am talking about performance and pump. If you are saying that the performance for both them are same then i think i will go for the cheapest Hydro 100i. But till then i have to confirm and sure bcz i love my system too much and waiting the reply from legokill101 also for his advise.

The H100i ran the coolest in the test and in many others and let's not compare the noise of the H100i with the one on the Glacer 240L. Besides that, the H100i got the "Approved" award. Overall, I think the H100i is a better cooler than the Glacer

I said let's not compare because the H100i is much quieter...
Also I don't think there is any direct comparison between those two, but in the Tom's Hardware review, the H100i was the coolest one

I know I am really really late to this. How did you go?
Personally I feel the advice of the H100i was not the best. I have one and it is really good but I am looking to switch to the Glacer on my next build (started out as a second pc as I had heaps of parts laying around and is quickly becoming a beast).
Have a look at this, for future reference:

http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/cooling/liquid/37574-cm-glacer240l?showall=&limitstart

It is about the most accurate review of the difference between the two, performance wise.
Don't get me wrong the H100i is a great AIO cooler, up around the top rungs of the ladder but the performance AND the mod-ability of the 240l, I believe, put it that one rung up. The hands down winner.
If you bought the H100i, you must be very happy with it and rightly so.
No 1 now, though, has to go to the Cooler Master Glacer 240L

Even though the Glacer is $50 more?

It depends. If I have plans of throwing my GPU in the loop, then sure. I'd rather do that than scrap my AIO and upgrade to a custom loop. The 240L is what I personally refer to as a semi-custom liquid cooler. If I want to add my GPU to my loop, I just need to get a CPU block, a couple of fittings, then some extra tubing and I'll be fine. I can even add an extra 140mm/280mm radiator to increase the cooling potential of my loop.

With the H100i, you can't do that, you have to scrap the whole thing. You could always grab a Kraken G10 for the GPU but I'm not really a fan of that product. But that's just me though.

Well yes...in that it is not JUST a cpu cooler. Performance is good, very good and the scope of what you can do with it. You have the option of modding as per the comment by rRansom

Also my gripe with the H100i is, in my COSMOS II (this is a big case), I am limited, by the length of the tubing as to where and how I seat my radiator.
When it comes to being totally happy with your rig, then really what is $50? Piece of mind and no annoying, niggling little doubt that things are not 100% to your liking.
Near enough is NEVER good enough...

And I am really late to this party......

But, yeah, the Glacer is worth every penny of $50 more and then some. Open loop, better performance, better quality parts and worlds quieter overall, especially at similar performance levels.

Looking at a Glacer and having an H100i in the mix is a bit like shopping for a cafe racer and having someone try talking you into a Big Wheel....
