I 've got a i7 930 280ghz 12 memory and a 5870 graphic card Want to up grade card My budget is 200 and the card must be a improvement over what i have now I talked to amd and they tell me the 270x isn't much of improment over the 5870 so what card should i get . If i have to put in a bigger power supply Then I'll buy a playstation4 thanks colin

r9 270x will give you 15 more FPS to every game you play compared to 5870...the benchmarks i will send you will have the 7870(r9 270x has 3-4 more fps)compared to 5870

i dont think you will need to change the psu because r9 270x consumes the same power more or less.so i guess you will be ok.may i ask what psu do you have????
