So this is the build
MB: Asus maximus vi hero
CPU: i5 4670k
GPU: Gtx 780ti 5 gb gddr5
RAM: 2x4gb ddr3 corsair something
Memory: 120gb corsair 'force'
PSU: GS 800
So my big question is will an 800 watt PSU really be able to keep this rig up and running. And if I forgot to add some "vital" information, please notify me. Thanks in advance!!

yes. btw the 780 ti has 3 gb of gddr5. 800w is enough to run two 780ti.

as said above 800w is enough to run 2 in sli. 650 is enough for 1, but do get a quality psu for your own sake

GeForce GTX 780ti - requires 42 Ampere on +12V rail and a 600W PSU minimum

So if you are not into over clocking or want future SLI a 650/700W PSU will be enough for you.

Don't go with GS series of Corsair its not a trusted one. Go with HX or TX series or XFX real good one's.

And keep in mind not all PSU's can handle HASWELL CPU, so choose accordingly.

Problem is I already have the GS 800 installed, and after buying the MB CPU and GPU I will most likely have to live of noodles for a good amount of time. I didn't even have the PSU in mind while I ordered the rest of the stuff.

GS 800 is compatible with HASWELL CPU, nothing to worry about. But its not that good. Not all version of HX are compatible so I just warned you.

So what will the risks be?

GS 800 Gamer series, fixed cables, blue/red/white LED fan, rated at 40C, mixed Japanese and Taiwanese caps, 80+, 3 year warranty and some thermal issue. And not made by Seasonic (top line PSU maker). Its made by Channel Well Tech (CWT).
