Hi,

I've recently purchased a Asus Geforce GTX660 OC for my i7 build. After installing everything, my computer won't output anything. The GPU's 2 fans are spinning but it doesn't detect anything. I've thought I had a bad card so I've swapped with the shop... but still no dice.

I'm also starting to suspect my power supply's modular cable could be of an issue. But to get a new modular cable it'll cost me $20 at my local shop.

I have no other graphics I can test to see whether my PCI-E slots are working or not... but I do not see the name of my Asus GTX660 in Windows Device Manager

Can somebody please help?

Thanks in advance!

I assume you've moved the plug from your mobo to your gpu when you tried this? seen lots of ppl make that mistake. Only reason I ask is how do you see anything in windows if you don't get an output. It should disable onboard video once you install the GPU.

I have the exact same board and a pretty similar GPU with no issue.

I have integrated graphics on my mobo (DVI). If I plug my monitor to my GPU, the monitor says no signal.... But I know that the computer boots because I can shutdown my PC by hitting the "windows" key + "tab" key x 2 + "enter" key

That is pretty odd, I assume you do have the PCI Express plugs in the video card? I think it might can draw enough wattage from the lane to turn the fans but I'm not sure. I have a 650 TI from asus it has a green LED showing that its working, does your card have a similar LED?
