Can this crappy motherboard run this processor?

HI all, wanted to know if I could use my old motherboard:

No. cause your old motherboard has a AM3 cpu socket that supports 45 nano meter (nm) chip technology. While the FX 8350 is a AM3+ socket 32nm chip.

well, unfortunately not..
this motherboard equipped with 785 chipset and limited to phenom II X4 class motherboard..

if you wanna go with that processor, you have to buy a new motherboard..
for example..
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
for $85, this motherboard will run fx8350 flawlessly..

Nope, that is an AM2+/AM3 motherboard and an AM3+ processor. Need a new board.

No, you can't run the FX-8350 (AM3+) CPU in that motherboard. Go here for confirmation:

m5a97 r.2 is an ATX board..it should fit on your case..

But if you want to a microATX size..
well..microatx mobo for AMD always mean a low end motherboard..
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3..it will run fx8350..only $45..

But remember, this one is a very low end motherboard..
you can't tuning and overclock with this motherboard..
Run it in default clock, and you'll be fine
