radeon 6450 not working on my gigabyte mother board

Hey everyone!

This whole process has been a nightmare, and I just need some help.

I have a gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P motherboard duel core AMD. I have bought and am trying to install a Radeon 6450 graphics card from Powercolor. I installed the cd that it came with and It says that I have no products installed. Furthermore I have looked in device manager and have found that it is not listed in there either, no ? marks are popped up.

I have no video coming from the card, and am currently using the on board video.

I will really appreciate any help.

  1. Best answer
your Radeon 6450 has "PCI Express 2.1 x16 bus interface" and your motherboard has "PCI Express 1 x 16"

so, your Motherboard doesnt support Radeon 6450 GPU
  2. Go into the BIOS and set the primary video to PCI-E
