Which is best? Bearing in mind that I'd like to play Battlefield 4. Will that be possible?

A8. Bulldozer architecture in a two words is power drain. Its best to leave the two and go for a fx 6300 piledriver

With regard to game play, would I be able to play Battlefield 4, on Medium? (I have the HD 8570D with the A8 6600k)

If you are getting a dedicated graphic card then fx 6300 along with a mid graphic card like hd6670. If not then no option but the A series. A8 6600k's integrated iGPU is equivalent to hd6570 which should give around 25~30fps in mid settings.
