Good afternoon forums,
I am having trouble enabling SLI on my system and I hope you can help me resolve this issue.

System Specs:
-Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77
-OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
-Video Cards: (1) GTX 670 4GB FTW, (1) GTX 670 4GB
-PSU: 800W

If there is any other information you need, please ask.

Both Video cards are detected in device manager and on The Nvidia control panel, however, the option to configure SLI does not appear.

I have provided pictures to ease explanation.

Nvidia Control panel:

GPU-Z Settings for both Cards:

I look forward to resolving this issue!
Thanks in advanced!

Solution
Lets try this... disconnect the SLI jumper, go into a game with something like fraps running. Get some average frame rates. Then go put the jumper on and go into a game and see if the frame rates improve. That way you will know if it is working in SLI or not. Make sure you are using a game that works with SLI.
I found:

Supports NVIDIA® Quad-GPU SLI™ Technology
Supports AMD Quad-GPU CrossFireX™ Technology
Supports LucidLogix® Virtu™ MVP Technology *1

so it appears your motherboard supports SLI. You don't have the primary video card as the onboard one do you?

I appreciate your prompt replies!
I'm sorry, what do you mean by as the onboard one?

The onboard video, there is a setting you can change in the bios.

I'm actually quite new to the BIOS settings. How may I go on changing this setting? I have contacted ASUS several times, and honestly, they really are no help. They avoid the problem.

Check this out. This is an image with the SLI bridge disconnected:

And this is the link with it connected:

I ordered another SLI bridge, and it is the one I am currently using because I thought the one that came with the motherboard might have been faulty. Turns out, it's the same situation with this SLI brdge as well.

Sorry for such a late reply, but to answer this question: No, no primary cards are set with onboard configuration.

I do, but that is only with the SLI bridge disconnected. The other picture is in relation to when the bridge is connected.
It's strange, I know the SLI bridge is compatible with my cards as well, so I really can't point out the problem.

Could it be due to the fact that one card is an EVGA GeForce GTX 670 4GB while the other is an EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW 4GB? I mean, from what I know, its only a difference of the FTW card being slightly overclocked.

True. But this issue doesn't allow me to enable SLI. Sure it is detected, but it still implies that I connect the SLI bridge to enable it. The option to "Maximize 3D Settings" is not active until the bridge is connected. But once connected, I can no longer see the option to configure SLI.

Lets try this... disconnect the SLI jumper, go into a game with something like fraps running. Get some average frame rates. Then go put the jumper on and go into a game and see if the frame rates improve. That way you will know if it is working in SLI or not. Make sure you are using a game that works with SLI.

Seems like a viable plan my friend. I will look into it and update you soon. Thanks for your input by the way, I truly do appreciate it.
