I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. it is currently running 3gb (2x1gb) ddr2 ram. ultimately i want to upgrade to 8gb (2x4gb) but cannot afford to do it all at once.
is it possible to run a 4gb ddr2 stick with a 1gb ddr2 stick?
