I currently have the i7 2600k, I'm maybe thinking of getting a i5 4670k and selling the i7 do you think it would be dramatic increase or if any? Opinions thanks!

you might see noticeable (read: dramatic) decrease in multithreaded performance in tasks that demand more than 4 cores and utilize hyperthreading.
as for per-core performance, just overclock it if you're using it with a z-chipset or p-chipset motherboard.
even at stock, the 4670k won't be too much faster than the 2600k. not worth upgrading.
the biggest reason would be that you'd have to buy a new, overall underperforming cpu as well as a new motherboard for negligible reasons.
bottom line, stick with the core i7 2600k.
the only, only significantly faster component in core i5 4670k is not the cpu, it's the igpu. core i7 2600k has hd3000 igpu which is a lot slower than 4670k's hd4600 igpu. if you need graphics boost, spend the money on a better graphics card or a new ssd instead.
