The graphics card in our office computer has recently died and rendering the computer useless due to there being no video out on the motherboard. Since the computer is nearly seven years old it is definetly starting to show its age. However building a completely new computer is out of budget so I am considering just replacing the motherboard, processer and RAM (since the old computer is ddr2). The computer is used purely for Facebook games and word processing. I have a very tight budget of £130. Would these parts be suitable for this:

AMD A8 5600K Black Edition

MSI FM2 Motherboard

4GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz

I do not need to purchase a power supply, hard drive, case, disk drive or a copy of windows

Yeah, budget is too tight to do something better than that.

well, if you change CPU/MOBO you might have to get a new Win licence. but stupid question is - why not just replace the graphics card? I'm guessing AGP slot?

by the way - where do you work where FACEBOOK GAMES are an APPROVED FORM OF WORK!?!?!?

The office computer is at our house not in a work place it is used for Facebook/general browsing and word processing, sorry if i didn't make that clear. I was considering replacing the graphics card but the computer was very basic when it was purchased 7 years ago and it is jut not coping with any basic tasks anymore. The Windows key which I have allowed it to be activated 3times before being non usable so should be fine
