8.1, all programs, where ?

I am trying to locate all programs, accessories, system tools, disk cleanup and defrag but when i right click on the start button it pulls up all programs and features and that takes me to the uninstall page for programs, what am i doing wrong ?

You want to defrag a harddrive?

Try this:

1. Hold the Windows key and hit "E"
2. In explorer, right click on the hard drive you want to defrag and select "Properties"
3. Go to the "Tools" tab
4. Select "Oprimize and Defragment Drive"

And that should do it!

Note: NEVER run a disk defrag on an SSD.

this is not windows xp or 7
its win8/8.1
you can follow neieus but if you want any specific program, take your mouse pointer to top or bottom right corner and click on search charm,
type in any program you want, it will be shown !

The new start window is in the bottom left hand corner. Click and it will take you to the category view. There's a down arrow at the bottom of the Category view. EVERYTHING is in there. If you're still stuck just type "Defrag" in the search charm.
