Asrock X79 EXTREME4-M X79 Socket not booting

Built my new system but it wont boot at all tested the PSU al the cables are connected if i disconnect the 24 pin atx connector the board does power up. im confused to crap now could do with some advice please.

Yes the 8 pin atx is connected, i disconnected everything 1 by 1 as well to see if there was any conflicting still nothing

tested the PSU that works so the mother board will be having power going to it

doesnt boot at all no bios no nothing, just wont turn on unless i manually jump the power on the 24 pin atx connector

First remove everything from ur Motherboard.....

Now, Install the Processor, then GPU , and then 24 and 8 PIN power connectors to ur Motherboard...dont connect ur HDD..... see if ur BIOS Jumper is in proper position.....and then now start the system .....

post the results here.....

tried everything still nothing i think the motherboard might be dead is there any way of testing it

take it to ur service centre....they will flash the BIOS for u

i had the same problem with my Motherboard...after updating BIOS....now its working Fine
