HP MediaCenter a1626n CPU Compability

I have an old HP Pavilion a1626n desktop and I took it apart about a year ago, and never put it back together, and recently I looked at the CPU (AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2GHz AM2 -Socket) and noticed some of the pins on the back were bent. So I started looking and I found 1 on both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, but I was wondering if there was another CPU that would work with that computer, I haven't found any information on that so far.

I'd take a look at what was available for that computer from HP, and go from there. That will tell you what is basically guaranteed to work. That was how I upgraded my Dell Latitude D531 from a single-core Sempron to a dual-core Turion.
