Help me, I simply can't seem to decide!!

Hey everyone, ok this is my question, the January sale is happening next month and I was thinking about getting a new laptop, since my 2 year old one has a pentium and I can barley run minecraft on lowest settings at 20-50 Fps, what laptop should I get the price of the laptop must be around £350 in January sales, I don't care who makes it as long as its more powerful the the slug I have for a laptop, again, intel or amd, I'm not really bothered.... But here's the twist to this plot, at the end of next year I can get a desktop due to certain reasons, but I'm worried that I won't have enough money to get a powerful enough one, but on the other hand I really want a new laptop so I can stop getting frustrated when I get lag on mc, tf2, ect, so I need your guys input to help me decide, thanks!!!!!

Hello,

Since you can get a desktop due to certain reasons and you would have £350. I would purchase a desktop as they are more powerful and you get more for your money. Laptops are a waste unless you spend up to £1500 for a good one. On £400-500 PC build, you should be able to play games no problem and without the FPS drops in minecraft and tf2.

To conclude, desktop over the laptop xD

Haha, try not to be. I recently sold my gaming rig to purchase a new one but i've gotta wait till around January. As you said; January sales. There maybe some good deals on.
