Like the title says, I have been trying to figure out what would be the best for the current setup I have.
My current build is:
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast 850W 80 PLUS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139009
CPU: Core i7 950 @ stock speed - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115211
Motherboard: Asus X58 Sabertooth LGA 1366 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131665
Video Cards: 2x XFX HD Radeon 6870s - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150521
Memory: G.Skill 12GB(6x 2GB) DDR3 1600MHz @ stock speeds - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231225
Case: HAF 932 Advanced - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160
Monitors: 2x Samsung 27" LED HD TV/Monitor and 1x Samsung 23" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001317
The main reason I am upgrading is not because these cards are not good/under-performing for the games that I play, it is to keep my system relevant without having to upgrade most of my system at around the same time.
I currently play League of Legends and EVE Online, obviously both are not heavy GPU intensive. I typically have 5-6 EVE clients open whenever I am playing, across all three monitors.
My budget is about $200-$350 and I want an Nvidia card, preferably EVGA. The main reason I am posting is because I cannot decide between getting one, $400-$500 video card, and two $200-$250 cards. I know I just said my budget is $200-$350, but I understand that I may have to be able to spend more to get what I want. I want something to last around 2-3 years, but understand that certain setups won't last that long if I cannot spend a ton of money now.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
