I am confused whether to choose
i7-4500U + GT 750M
or
i7-4700MQ + GT 740M

more suitable for modeling software like solidworks2013 and occasional gaming.

Does solidworks need a powerful CPU or GPU?

Solution
the 4700mq has 4 cores and 8 HT where the 4500u has 2 core with 4 HT, but the 750m should be better than the 740m, but from what i see there close in performance and perform near or over a gts 450 and has about a 10fps difference between the two, id prob go and look for something with the 4700 and 750m as both will help with solidworks and gaming more than the slower 4500 and the 740m with the 4700
