You should sign up for the NewEgg and Tiger Direct e-mail offers. They starting to have Christmas sales, buy one part at a time when you see good price. It is hard to tell you what to buy because prices are changing every day, even hour. You may consider AMD R7 or R9 or go with AMD Radeon 7770 or 7790. Also nVidia cards come with nice free games packages. I would be looking at nVidia 650 TI Boost if you want to spend near $175. AMD R9s are above $ 200 and offer no free games to go with it.

I would recommend a 650 TI Boost if you can as Astralv said, but the best thing to do is be a major deal hunter for a while. I saved over $250 on my new rig just by looking for sales and buying at opportune times. I'd say you don't want to go much lower than the 650 TI Boost (don't forget the Boost part) or a 7790 for future games. Also make sure you get at least 2GB Video Memory in your GPU. Good luck!

Apcs, funny that you mentioned WiFi card. Building right now with Asus Z87 Pro (V Edition) motherboard, and finding out that it does not have built in WiFi. I had Z77 V board and Z87 Deluxe board- both had FiWi- I just assumed- this one has it as well- not the case... Read the specs. Can't return it now. :(

Oh my mistake, I forgot about that. I generally like to include one because sometimes people can't use cable connections to get internet, I am actually in that case myself right now. OP if you don't need a WiFi card don't get one. If you want to have wireless internet I would reccomend this....

Using that speific model right now and I gotta say it's pretty fast. On my laptop downloading a steam game I usually get between 1.5 and 2.8 Mbps, but with this card its usually between 2.0 and 4.0 speeds.
