I just posted, but I dont see my thread... I am looking to build a gaming pc for christmas. The only parts i have decided on are my peripherals. I am getting a logitech g500 mouse, a steel series v2 headset, and a steel series apex keyboard. This brings my budget down to around $1250. I need everything, an OS, a monitor, and all computer components. I play games like sc2, LoL, Diablo 3, CS:GO, BF4, and other multiplayer intensive games. There is one catch... My mom is afraid to purchase parts on the internet. so, instead I will be going to a microcenter to purchase pc parts.

Thanks in advance,

Mxdden

Purchase them all from Newegg, you will be fine with all of their warranties. I just built a computer last week with ALL my parts from newegg.

That is the newer socket type from intel. If you are planning on overclocking then the one in my build is better, if you are not then the other is. Mine runs cooler but preforms a little bit worse. But my whole build is interchangeable with the CPU and motherboard from his build.

Ahh.. sort of. Some parts can get pretty complicated in a way. Just make sure you put the processor and everything in right. I would recommend watching some videos first.
