I was replacing my start orb then editing it when I replaced it again my PC froze. When I started up start orb studio it had created a restore point for me. Well at least it said it did.
I am running win 7 Pro SP1 x64. [strike] I cannot seem to get system restore to find any restore points.[/strike]
startup repair will not work either from a win 7 Pro N x86 bit disk
[strike]I should have some restore points though because in the last few days I installed a bunch of programs[/strike].
The PC does boot and other programs still run. Such as FireFox which I am using to type this.[strike] Is there a way I can launch system restore from Run or Task Manager. [/strike] Is there another way I can fix the problem of Explorer.exe missing.
Edit:I can get skype to run if someone wants to see/show me how to fix it.
Update: I got system restore to run by using taskmanager to launch Run. Then I ran rstrui.exe
however even though I restored my system. Explorer.exe is still missing
