Just finished my htpc/photo-editing machine:

ASrock FM2A75M Pro4+ FM2/FM2+ MicroATX motherboard ($55)
AMD A10-5800k ($100)
8GB (2 x 4GB) G.Skill 2133 MHz cas 11 ($53)
1TB Western Digital Blue 64MB cache 7200 RPM ($60)
XFX Radeon HD 6750 1GB GDDR5 ($15)
Sentey cheapo case with front USB 3.0 and SD card reader ($7.50)
Thermaltake TR2 600 W power supply ($25)
Logitech K350 wireless keyboard and M510 wireless mouse combo ($50)
(2) 120 mm case fans (free)

Total: $365.50

Now I've got a problem. I found a screaming deal on a 240GB Intel 530 for $80 + 10 shipping. Or I could get a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO for 60 shipped. My whole point in doing this build was to make a very cost effective machine for streaming HD content, very minor gaming, and RAW photo editing. I really don't need an SSD, but these seem like a great deal.

I expect to keep the computer on most of the time, so boot times are not a big concern. I do expect to get an SSD at some point though, and I can't forecast NAND price trends. Should I get one? If so, should I go with the 120GB for cost or 240GB for capacity?

Edit: Not planning to do any gaming that would warrant a discrete GPU better than a 6750. In fact, I bought it after deciding to go with an APU system and may not end up using it because of the integrated graphics in the APU. Let's say it's an all-around PC for media, photo editing, browsing, and a few games (starcraft 2, maybe a racing game/fps). Does that change your opinion?
