I've reached 3.9 ghz at stock voltage stable with intelburntest.
My cpu is the AMD Phenom II x6 1090t.
I tried going 4.0-4.1 ghz but it's not letting it to be stable.

Has anyone gone over 4.1 ghz?

Probably not going to happen. You are at the limit of the architecture of the chip. Even with a multi hundred dollar water cooling setup you will not hit much over 4Ghz with the Phenom II series CPUs. You sure don't want to go over 63c no matter what.

Oh and you can raise the voltage some. Just make sure to keep those temps under 62-63C and that is when stressing with Prime 95! You might can get 4-4.1Ghz out of it with a voltage bump.

Its Quite common for the C3 (final) stepping of the X4s and X6 to hit about 4.2GHz on Air but with a voltage of about 1.54 - 1.56 volts.
im running with a C2 stepping of an X4 @ 4.1GHz @ 1.56v been like that for more than two years with no issues under heavy usage.

Increase your voltage to NO MORE than about the above stated maximum of 1.56v and try again.

I did that and i get BSOD or unstable tests. On 4.1ghz if i go (+.00625v this is how much my motherboard can raise voltage by) and up i get worse results than at stock.

I have the same mother board and the same processor, with a ZALMAN CPU cooler, but I don't know why I cannot even OC to 3.6

I raise the voltage up to 1.4 disable cool and quiet , enable Unlock CPU, and it seems that even just without OC, and everything on the normal settings just disabling the COOL AND QUIET would make the system hang after less than 5 mins of in gameing.
Can you please help me with that

Thanx

Have you found out at what frequency your system is stable on overclock?
That's what i did the WHOLE day just to find out i can't go pass 3.9 ghz, which sucks.

Normally, From what i've might have remembered is go to the frequency you wish your system to run on. Set voltage (offset voltage or dynamic voltage? in our case) to stock(+/- 0.00 V) then slowly go up by 1 setting.

Run intelburntest or prime95 to find if it is stable. I prefer intelburn because of faster results. (make sure you record your data)

Then up voltage by 1 settings again. repeat process until the results gets really bad from the results you initially got.
Then you might have to bring down your frequency.

Repeat process.

Am i missing anything else out?

If your not pleased with the results you're getting switch to a better board that can support the overclock you intend. I plan to stay with this board, it was a hassle to just set everything up.
