Video card for ASUS ATX 79 deluxe: Qualifed Vendor list

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a Video card for my ASUS X79 Deluxe that I've ordered. I was going to order an EVGA 780 3GB but noticed it wasn't on the mobo's qualified vendor list. In fact the only 780 that was is the ASUS below which is $150 more. Should I buy the ASUS one to be safe?

I guess so. But why is is soooo much more expensive? And then there is this one that's cheaper:

You can use any 780 card you want to on your MB.

It does not matter 1 bit if the graphics card is ASUS or not on an ASUS MB, get the card you like.
