I have an Asus GTX 670 graphics card that came with a dual molex 3pin connector. The card itself has two pcie slots so i just plugged two pci e cables directly into it from psu. probably not a good idea since the system wont boot.
what cable(s) am i supposed to use? one pci along with the cable it came with or just the cable it came with?

Solution
if you have a fairly up to date psu, it should come with all the proper connectors and you don't need those adapters. As long as you have 2 separate cables, 2 6+2 ones are fine, then everything should power up ok if they are seated properly.

that's what im using right now expect the +2 on one connector is not used since there isn't a place for it.

the cable that came with the gpu connects to the gpu with a 6pin but missing one in top middle. the other end of it splits into the 2 3pin molex connections
