I am building a gaming pc for BF4, Dayz, ArmA, Eve, etc.
i want to get a motherboard that has good quality sound but isn't overkill and it would help if you listed the pros/cons between these two mobo. Also my build is below:
CPU: i7 4770k
GPU: GTX 780 ti
PSU: Corsair RM750
Case: Define R4 (Black Pearl)
HDD: 1TB Seagate SATA
SSD: Samsung 250GB
OS: Windows 8.1 (64 Bit)
Network Card: WDN4800
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2)

If this is a gaming rig, I would recommend saving some money and getting an i5-4670K. i7s are massive overkill for gaming (and provide little gain for the unjustified extra cost).

Note: I am very jealous of your GPU. :D

As for the motherboards, if you want actual sound quality, then get a discrete sound card. Integrated sound is still integrated sound in the end. Also, I could not find any "ASUS Z87X-A" motherboards. Did you mean the ASUS Z87-A by chance?
