Upgrading a Dell Vostro 200

I'm upgrading a Dell Vostro 200 which i got for free and i'm interested in some options for a upgrade.

Current Specs:
CPU: Pentium E2160 @ 1.80Ghz(Dual Core)
Graphics: G33 Express Chipset
PSU: 300W
Ram: 2x1 Gb(Random Freebies, no idea what they are)
Mobo: Foxconn G33M02

Planned:
CPU: E8500 Core2Duo @ 3.16Ghz $36
Graphics: GTX 660 1.5Gb OEM $100(Thanks to a mate)
PSU: 450W(Comes with GPU, Again thanks to a mate)
Ram: 4x1Gb Hynix 800Mhz DDR2 $37
Mobo: Foxconn G33m02 $0

Total Planned Cost:$173 AUD

If so, the first thing you must do is be sure it supports the E8500 CPU and that it has a late enough BIOS that it will recognize the CPU when you boot.

You can find the MB manual at that site as well. It's kinda crappy, but better than nothing.

Be sure the memory is in matched pairs. Dual channel memory is very particular about timing, voltage, speed, etc. And since you are populating all 4 slots, it needs to be all the same for best results.

Managed to get this running with 8GB, latest bios with G33M02 motherboard version
Couldn't get a quad core to run on motherboard and psu wont allow it, but a Core 2 duo E8500 ordered
