Hello,

I just bought the Seasonic platinum P760 psu and I am confused with the psu-side connectors....sorry this is my first fully modular high-end psu. For the 20/24pin m/b connector, the cable has an 18+10pin connection on the side that connects to the psu(see pic on the newegg link) and ofcourse on the other side has the 20+4pin connector. Now I am confused, am I supposed to connect both the 18pin and the 10pin into their respective m/b labeled connections on psu or just one of them?
Below are the.links to the product page on Newegg(refer to it for the psu connections pic) and the Seasojic website product page(the user manual can be downloaded from there)
Thanks!

Solution
Yes, you plug in both motherboard connectors, that'll go to your 24 pin connector then the top right CPU/PCIe connector (with printing correctly oriented) is where you would want to put your CPU 8 pin connector. Save the bottom CPU/PCIe for your graphics.

Note that CPU (EPS) and PCIe cannot be used interchangeably even though they come out of the same places, the terminal connector lets you know which goes where
