hi,
i am going to upgrade my pc by buying a new CPU, RAM and motherboard.

i just wanted to know if the FX6300 is a good choice for what I want to do with my pc. I game a lot and I also record and edit video's for youtube. I would like to use adobe premier for that or Vegas pro. I already have a saphire HD6670 1GB GPU so i think i don't need to upgrade that.

also i want to know which RAM and motherboard would be best for this processor. I think i want 8GB cause my budget is not so big.
i am thinking of overclocking my processor so a motherboard that could handle that would be great.

my budget is about 200$ maybe more something like 350$ (I still have to ask my father if he wants to give me some money)

and maybe a good fan for overclocking would also be nice.

my pc now:
intel pentium dual core E5300 2,6Ghz
2GB ram
HD6670 1GB
1TB HDD

thank you for your help :)

(sorry if i am in the wrong section)

If you're doing a bunch of editing/rendering, get as many cores as possible! (ie. FX 8320/8350).
You could get an 8320 and overclock it easily to the speeds of an 8350 for about $50 cheaper (exactly what I did).
8Gb seems to be the medium nowadays so you're fine on that part.

FX 6300 is great for it's price though, if you can't afford the 8320 (~$149), then the 6300 will be just fine!
I'm running my 8320 on an Asus M5A97 R2.0 mobo and it works just fine. I'd recommend that board (~$90).

You could buy 2 sticks of ram (2x4gb) for about $50, I'd recommend 1600Mhz or above.

For a cpu cooler, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo will work just fine on that mobo/cpu. It's ~$30.

My setup includes:
OC FX 8320
Asus M5A97 R2.0
CM Hyper 212 Evo
PNY 2x4gb 1866Mhz
