After a while now i am looking at to upgrade my GPU from 6850 to 7950 (hopefully offer plenty of gaming experience improvement). However, Given everything is housed on Sugo Sg-05, I am not sure the card will fit.

I am looking at MSI 7950 TF3 and listed as 261mm.
link: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R7950-Twin-Frozr-3GD5-OC...

Some people of forum said case can take absolute length at 262mm but its too close. Can anybody who has actual card help me to measure the actual length without the curve on the bracket or even better, can confirm if the card fit the case without any mod.

Thanks folks! appreciate any reply.

Regards,

I had a Sapphire 7950 in my ITX case (Cooler Master 120 Elite) and I can tell you that thing got hot and loud, and it blows all that hot air into the case. I would suggest the HIS IceQ 7950 blower but that might not fit, and also all AMD cards are really difficult to buy right now because of litecoin mining. The 7950 won't be found anywhere but ebay for twice the retail price.

But for a similar price/performance, you can try the mini version of the Nvidia 760 which is designed for cases like the SG05:

ASUS https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX760DCMOC2GD5/
MSI http://www.msi.com/news-media/news/1631.html

The performance will match the 7950, and the smaller size will improve the airflow in your case.

Thank you for replying me.

Unfortunately my budget does not allow me to look for other (my budget only cover 7870 or 660ti). I actually have a very good deal offer on 2nd hand 7950. That's why I am considering it. Of course, i will upgrade my GPU to Silverstone SFX 450 Gold modular.

It looks like it doesn't fit: http://www.amazon.com/exactly-Silverstone-which-believe...

You may have to mod the case a little bit to get it in, any chance the person you are buying it from would let you try it out first?

That card is currently the most in demand by litecoin miners, you can easily sell it on eBay if it doesn't fit http://www.overclock.net/t/1445966/7950-ebay-prices
