So any GPU's in that price range that would be able to plat next-gen games? Maybe at medium-high settings.

I also do prefer Asus or AMD, Dunno about Nvidia

Most every GPU in the world for gamers is developed by AMD or nVidia, the other brands you see are re-branded cards that generally have alterations to the stock model i.e better cooling or overclocked performance. With that said, you should be able to pull off decent performance in that range. I suggest a 270x like this one:

Asus is a trustworthy brand and this GPU even comes with BF4! :)

Oh god yes. This card runs BF4 at ultra no problem with 30-45 frames or more. If those are the settings/numbers that you are looking for then you will be thoroughly impressed with this card.

Unless you find a 'special' on something like the older HD7950 (slightly faster than the 270, slightly slower than the 270x) the R9 270/270x is the best value currently available within your budget.
I'm running said HD7950 and it'll run everything I throw at it at 1080 res on at least high, or more often than not ultra settings smoothly.
Only possible fly in the ointment is the rest of the system: you'll need at least a decent 500Watt powersupply with 2x6 PCI-E power leads for the card and a fast quad cored CPU to drive it.
And a 1080 monitor to make it fully worthwhile.
Some places to go shopping: Dabs, CCL, Novatech, Scan, Aria, Overclockers, Pixmania and Ebuyer. don't pay too much extra for overclocked cards and avoid and 7950s with single fan coolers.
