Hey buddy,
the two board that you have narrowed down to are pretty awesome.
If you have a flexible budget then you should go for the formula..
The Formula has an extra PCI-E 3.0 slot in case you want triple SLI/CF, the Hero has only two.
The formula has has a couple extra USB ports and SATA ports, but the Hero has enough for most.
Also the Formula has RAM disc software, but you can get it free off the internet.
In short, look at what the Formula has extra and if you need it.

Now coming to the ram I would say, It totally depends upon your budget.
The more the better.. And regarding its clock speed, I personally think that 1600MHz will suffice.
I need motherboard and ram memory but not sure which one to chose...
I have selected 2 boards to chose from but also I need some advice.
I know that formula is much better, But not sure if it is wort £60 extra if you compare it with Hero,
Wireless and sound is a + also it looks very nice.
Also I know that sometimes extra money can be spent on graphics etc...
3 days ago I have placed an order for 4670K so Only mobo and ram is what I need As I have had about 4 different gaming machines within last 4 years and sold the bits....

Microsoft Sidewinder mouse.
So I need Motherboard And Memory
