hey guys i'm a backpacker in australia and i'd like to buy a laptop for medium level of gaming:
1. What is your budget? depends on the offer ( wouldnt mind spending 50 dollar more for a good improvement) but mainly its up to 700 AUD
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? i'd love to have a 16" or bigger but a 15.6" should do.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
no idea about that...
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? desktop gaming replacement for a few hours after work
5. How much battery life do you need? around 4 would be enough
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? LoL on higher settings, starcraft 2 if possible on high, medium setting would be fine, cs:go on high, if possible run games like skyrim on higher settings, but i can live with medium settings.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) mostly for gaming, music, watching movies (HDMI output is important for me), maybe a little of video editing.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 500gb is more than enough ill mostly use an external drive for movies and music
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. -
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? as long as possible, would be perfect if it lasts the next years during university
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? dvd rom wopuld be great but dont have to be
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. i didnt have any other processors than intel till now and i like it but acutally dont rly care, as long as it works
13. What country do you live in? at the moment in australia but normaly in germany
14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. as mentioned i'd like the laptop to last for university. it should still be able to play newer games on medium settings.
