My TX3 clip for AMD got busted maybe that's the cause of my Cpu's high temp (40-45C). I just tied the clip joint whatever before it was 25-35C for my AMD FX6300. now, I'm using the stock HSF(48-52 idle and 56-63 gaming). I don't overclock.

By the way what's is really the average temp of my FX 6300?

I will trade my TX3, to one of these 3 CM HSF namely Cm blizzard T2, Hyper 103, Hyper tx4
T2 is significaly the cheapest and i like the bottom copper insert are closely together making it wider with 2 copper insert making it look 4 but it has realy have 2 heatpipes, am I right. CM hyper 103 is pretty much, the LOOK,of my TX3 with the same bottom split 3 heatpipes, But THE FAN matches my blue led fans in my case. ^_^ and WAY much expensive than T2. While TX4 is a bit expensive than 103. But it is closer to 212 evo specs and closer in price tag too. (if I could find still a store selling any of 212).

So help me decide of w/c of the 3. I bought TX3 EVO early this year w/c is about the same price tag of T2 this time.

I'm from the Philippnes. My specs are:

AMD FX6300 w/ stock fan (former CM TX3)
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
CM elite 431 case with 4 deepcool fans 1 coolrmaster fan
sapphire 7770 Vapor X
FSP Raider 650w silver
8GB Ram ( 4gb kinston, 4gb gskill 1333)
4TB (2x 2TB SV35 HDD)

Oh, idle temp. OK. That is a bit too warm. Probably poor contact between cooler and CPU due to the home-made fastener. And if you've removed the cooler and replaced it w/o cleaning/replacing the TIM, that created minute air pockets in the existing TIM that retards heat transfer.

Yes, you need a proper cooler/mounting arrangement. The CM Hyper T4 is the best of the 3 you listed, obviously. If you have the room and the money go with it. Be sure to clean the old TIM from the cooler and cpu surfaces before adding new. I like using: http://www.amazon.com/ArctiClean-60ml-Kit-30ml/dp/B0007TOR08/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387049117&sr=8-2&keywords=arctic+cooling+cleaner
...but any isopropyl alcohol will work.

But for a non-overclocker...

40C - 45C under stress is not high temp for any CPU. The more heat pipes, the bigger they are, and the larger diameter the fan is, generally produce a better cooler. So, yes the 2 (pair) of heat pipes would be a limitation. But if you don't O/C, it really doesn't matter. You should just look for the quietest if noise is an issue. Any of them will be better than the stock cooler. But I'm not familiar with the hyper tx4. Please post a link.

Neither of the others with their small 92mm fan are even close to the 212 EVO with its large 120mm fan and big heat pipes. If you O/C'd I'd push you towards the EVO. But since this is mainly for looks, go with which ever mounts the easiest and has the lowest Decibel rating.

thanks for replying. Let me rephrase it, 40-45 idle w/ my busted cllip CM TX3 for FX 6300. I really a bit disturb by my range temp especially my old phenom 1055t 125w (32-36 idle) was lower in temp than my newer fx6300. its has to be cooler. STUN thou when I first used this processor a month ago, my readings is 25 down with my not busted clip TX3. I was very pleased. But for some reason I re-mount it again after that's when my clip detached itself. I lost the joint. I just use the zip tie and plug to small hole to reattached the locker( the one you had to pressed down to the clip.)

212 EVO is being haunted for extinction here in Manila ^_^ 212 evo and its older brothers (212 plus and other 212s) in fact.

I'm sorry it is not TX4. Cooler Master Hyper T4. i believe the price of it is a bit cheaper than 212s and a and a bit close than 103. (I'll update my thread, sorry about that). i saw the box of the 103 and T4. T4 is wider while 103 is taller.

but anyway i found 212s (USED) they are cheaper than 103 but i really don't like the idea of buying used for just almost 5 -7 USD less than the actual retail price ( IF i found brand new 212)

But for a non-overclocker, any of them will be more than enough cooling. What are you using to read your CPU temps? I have not found any that read AMD processors correctly since they went to the Bulldozer lineup.
