Hi peeps

I've not long finished a new build and havnt attempted any overclocking. Couldnt for the life of me figure out why I kept getting BSOD's so stress tested and checked almost everything. It turns out my cpu is adjusting its self automatically and ranges anywhere from 798MHz all the way up to 4.4Ghz or there abouts.. but only having a Corsair H55 I don't think I should be overclocking my i5 4670k at all.. I attempted to find the stock voltages to turn it down a bit but everything I tried in the bios just leads to a BSOD on bootup. Can someone help? I'm running a:

Gigabye Z87X-OC
i5 4670k

PS almost everything in the bios relating to the cpu and memory is set to auto.

yeah seems to be, it doesn't run to hot, the 4 cores are idling at 30 celsius in a pretty warm room. its funny because the Prime95 stress test ran a 99% load and they seemed to level off around the 80 celcius mark which according to the manufacturerers is about 10 short of its top limit. but gaming causes bsod :/
