Hi everyone,

Found a good deal on this GTX 770 card. I havent seen too many reviews on it, is it a good card or should I steer clear of the PNY brand?

Thanks Bullets, Newegg had a deal where you get get the 2GB version for 263$ which seemed really good but Im worrried about the card only having 2GB VRAM.

I don't think the extra $100 is worth 2GB of VRAM unless you plan to continue with heavy gaming. In that case, it is definitely worth paying $100 more to get the one with more VRAM because it will give it a longer effective lifespan. The GIGABYTE card has better clock rates too. It's up to you: get a great price, or get a card that will last you a bit longer. I have been planning on getting this card for a while now, but due to recent computer expenses I have to wait longer. It is worth the $100 if you do play games with high resolution textures and hi-poly meshes or if you play games on multiple monitors.

Thanks Bullets, I think I'll pass on the 2GB PNY card. I am having a terrible time finding an AMD card. I was told that the 7970 is a great option as well as the R9-280X, but I cant find any... argh!

Both are basically the same thing, but the R9 runs a bit hotter and quicker. They are the same card in different chassis that have been clocked differently.
