Remove AMD Drivers Before Upgrading?

Hello:

To address screen artifacts on COD:Ghosts, I want to reinstall the AMD Video driver (Win 8.1, 64-bit, MSI Radeon 7790 1GB), or perhaps even try the most recent beta.

In various forums and on the AMD site there seem to be mixed messages on whether or not to remove ALL AMD software from the PC before replacing or upgrading video drivers.

Any clarification or advice?

Some people use driver sweeper. But for me i just remove it in control panel (uninstall a program) twice.
If you want to remove only the Amd display driver, you choose "custom"

But should remove the display driver before install new one.
Its better to remove all AMD folder in C: drive after removing the AMD catalyst install manager in control panel(program)
