Hi I just replace my MB CPU PSU and RAM
Asrock 980de3/u3s3
Fx6300 blk edition CPU
Mc600m PSU
Two sticks of 4Gig ddr3 ram
This is my first time replacing this much on my computer. When I turn the switch on from the psu computer turns on for a few seconds then turns off. The front power button does nothing at all when I press it. I have taken the MB out thinking it was bad replaced it and still the same thing happens. Then I got a new psu still same thing. What am I doing wrong please help.
Oh I'm using my existing Hard drive if that makes any difference.

Maker sure your pinouts for the power are properly configured also sounds like your board could be shorting out make sure that it is mounted properly to all your stand offs I have had problems similar in thew past because the board wasn't properly mounted to the stand offs and last make sure your new hardware power requirements don't exceed your PSU.

My psu requirements are good. And I can't find a short anywhere I've looked and looked and looked. MB screws are tight but not to tight and I only have my stand offs where they should be.

Ok switching to a2 and b2 did something. Now when I turn on my psu my computer no longer try's to boot but I can hear that something's on and it's actually staying on unlike how it did before. Front power button is still not turning on the computer though and no fans Were spinning like they did before.
