Windows often has problems with bluetooth devices due to strict security policies surrounding their use. I want you to go into the device manager...
1) Click on Start
2) Type into the search field: device manager
3) Press Enter
The device manager will open in a new window. Find the bluetooth device, right-click it and select uninstall. The driver software will be uninstalled. Also, make sure to uninstall any software that came with the bluetooth device from add/remove programs. Then, click on the "Scan for hardware changes" button. it is a small icon at the top of the window that looks like a computer with a magnifying glass. Windows will scan the computer for hardware changes. It should detect the bluetooth device and install a universal bluetooth driver for Windows.
